ECP Fellows Internship Program

Raising up campus ministry leaders for the future…

Our Program: Raising up campus ministry leaders for the future…

Are you a newly ordained or soon-to-be ordained priest who can see yourself working in campus ministry? Do you enjoy working with college age students? Might God be calling you to explore a call to this specialized ministry?

We invite you to consider interning with us in our ECP Fellows Internship Program. We are offering a 1 to 2-year internship program where you can apprentice with us at the Episcopal Church at Princeton University. You will receive training and mentorship in the knowledge, art, and practice of Campus Ministry. We hope to appoint a new Fellows Intern to start in the Fall of 2026.

ECP is one of the largest Episcopal Campus Ministries in the country, having a long history of successful campus ministry going back to 1876. ECP is currently being led by the Rev. Allen Wakabayashi, a veteran campus minister with over 30 years of ministry on multiple college campuses.

In addition to working with ECP at Princeton, our Fellows Intern will also serve part-time at a local parish - presiding and preaching on Sunday mornings, working with the vestry, and providing some pastoral care and leadership for a small parish.

The goal of ECP’s Fellows Internship Program is to raise up and train future Campus Ministry leaders/Chaplains. Once a person has served out their 1 to 2-year internship with us, it is our hope that they will be equipped to lead Campus Ministry elsewhere at another campus.
