The Lux Choir
The Lux Choir is a university-recognized choir aptly described by a Princeton University student as "the soundtrack to heaven."
Lux sings fine music from the sacred music repertory (both ancient and modern) and welcomes your participation. If you would like to join your voice to theirs, please contact a member of the Music Team or simply come to the Chapel at 7pm Sunday evenings during semester for rehearsal.
Lux is directed by ECP's Co-Directors of Music, Mr Thomas Heidenreich and Mr Joel Trekell.
Director of Music & ChoirMaster
Connor oversees all aspects of sacred music at ECP, working with Lux Choir and serving as the organist, conductor, and choirmaster.
A recent graduate of Westminster Choir College with a Master of Music, Connor served at First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown, NJ, before being appointed to serve at Trinity Church under the direction of Tom Whittemore (Director of Music, Trinity) and lead sacred music at ECP.
Connor is married to Leslie Virnelson, a PhD student in Hebrew Bible at Princeton Theological Seminary. His performance of J.S. Bach's "Trio super Nun komm' der Heiden Heiland" BWV 660 on the Paul Fritts Organ, Op. 20, at Princeton Theological Seminary can be found here.
